Training Certification: 3D Design and Printing
In this hands-on session, you will print a 3D model. Before the session, all participants must complete online, self-paced pre-work. Pre-work involves going through lessons in Tinkercad (a free CAD software from Autodesk) and Makerspace learning modules. Previous experience with 3D modeling and 3D printers is not required.
UGA students, faculty, and staff who wish to use the 3D printers in the Science Library Makerspace must first complete this hands-on session and the associated pre-work. After completion, participants are certified to independently run the 3D printers.
This training session is free and open to all UGA students, faculty, and staff with a valid UGA ID. Library accounts must be in good standing, so please pay any fines or return any late books before attending the session.
Once you confirm registration, feel free to start working on the required learning modules.
Please note the seat availability before registering, which is above the blue Begin Registration button below. If there are 0 seats available, you may still register for this session date, but you will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified if another person cancels their registration.
