SUMMARY:Becoming a Savvy AI User: What Everyone Should Know
DESCRIPTION:Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday work\, 
 education\, and communication—but using AI effectively requires more than 
 knowing how to write a prompt. This interactive workshop introduces the 
 foundations of AI literacy\, including how generative AI works\, ethical 
 and intellectual property considerations\, privacy risks\, and strategies 
 for identifying AI-generated content. Participants will explore real-world 
 examples\, discuss emerging challenges\, and leave with practical 
 guidelines for using AI responsibly\, protecting personal information\, and 
 critically evaluating AI-generated text\, images\, and media. 
 \n\nParticipants will learn to: \n\n\n	\n	Explain the basic concepts behind 
 generative AI and large language models.  \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Recognize 
 ethical\, copyright\, and intellectual property considerations when using 
 AI.  \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Identify privacy risks and understand what information 
 should (and should not) be shared with AI tools.  \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Evaluate 
 AI-generated content and recognize common indicators of synthetic text\, 
 images\, audio\, and video.  \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Apply practical strategies for 
 responsible and informed AI use. \n	\n
