Undergraduate-led 3D Design and MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printing training session

Undergraduate-led 3D Design and MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printing training session

Please note, only original content, designs created by you, may be 3D printed in the UGA Library Makerspace.

Participants will learn basic 3D modeling and how to independently operate the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printers from an undergraduate peer. Most work is completed through self-paced, online modules before a hands-on session to learn how to safely operate the 3D printers. Participants must successfully complete the online modules prior to the in-person session. After successful completion, individuals may independently reserve and operate the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D printers.

Previous experience with 3D modeling and 3D printers is not required. There is no cost to use the equipment. Library accounts must be in good standing. This training is open to all UGA students.

After you register for your in-person session, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online modules. If you don't receive that confirmation email with the modules, please check your Spam/Junk folder for a confirmation email will be from 'UGA Libraries Calendar.'
