Form 3+ SLA resin 3D printers training session

Form 3+ SLA resin 3D printers training session

Participants must successfully complete the 3D Design and MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printing before being trained on the Form 3+ resin 3D printers. If you have not already completed that training, please sign up on the makerspace's calendar. Only original content, meaning designs created by you, may be 3D printed in the McBay Science Library Makerspace.

Most work is completed through self-paced, online modules before a hands-on session to learn how to safely operate the Form 3+ SLA resin 3D printers, PreFrom print software, and post-print washing process, which includes the use of isopropyl alcohol. Participants must successfully complete the online modules prior to the in-person session. After successful completion, individuals may independently reserve and operate the Form 3+ SLA resin 3D printers.

There is no cost to use the equipment. Library accounts must be in good standing. This training is open to UGA undergraduate and graduate students.

After you register for your in-person session, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the online modules. If you don't receive that confirmation email with the modules, please check your Spam/Junk folder for a confirmation email will be from 'UGA Libraries Calendar.'
