This event is for UGA Faculty, instructors and Teaching Assistants
The Faculty Interest Group on Evidence Synthesis in the Classroom welcomes Dr. Terri Pigott, Professor at Georgia State University and nationally recognized expert in meta-analysis and evidence synthesis, for a lunchtime talk on teaching scoping and systematic reviews. Dr. Pigott is a 2023 Fellow of the American Educational Research Association, past President of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology, and co-editor-in-chief of the journal Research Synthesis Methods.
Light refreshments and finger foods, such as sliders and pinwheels, will be served. You are welcome to bring a lunch.

Attendees may prefer to bring their own lunch; however, there will be no microwave available in the lecture room. There is a public microwave on the first floor of the Miller Learning Center. There is a Jittery Joe's in the MLC and a food court in the Tate Student Center, across from the MLC.
